I was lucky enough to have lunch with my mother today at one of our favorite places in town. The Tavern, as we sometimes call it, attracts quite an eclectic crowd, ranging from gentlemen farmers to motorcycle junkies. It's a curious place, classy enough to have a fountain outside (as seen above), but scruffy enough to make it welcoming and comfy (see the endearing "bikers welcome" sign below).
On the way home, we stopped by a little store with a basement art gallery.
We marveled at all of the beautiful paintings, sculptures, and rugs...
... as well as the novelties upstairs.
Our last stop was an antique place...
... situated next to an old whiskey distillery!
It was a beautiful, blessed day.
